In 2016, The Suffolk County Easter Rising Committee of Long Island, New York, commissioned a memorial which marked the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising. Irish Natural Stone was selected to produce this memorial, which displayed the Committees Irish Heritage and the history of Ireland.

In total, the project took approximately five months to produce, and once finished, stood at over 4 metres in height. The entire memorial was hand-carved from scratch, and it consisted of 4 stone pieces. The memorial highlighted key 1916 staples, such as the Proclamation of Independence, the GPO and the Harp.
